The Bloomsburg Regional Technology Center is located within the
boundaries of the Greater Susquehanna Keystone Innovation Zone.

What's a KIZ?

  • The Keystone Innovation Zone program is intended to
    renew and focus our commitment to creating new technologies
    and new entrepreneurs - using our colleges and universities
    to deliver economic development opportunities
    throughout the Commonwealth.
  • The Commonwealth’s stated goal of the KIZ program
    is to improve the economy and the attractiveness of
    Pennsylvania ’s communities, thus keeping young people
    in Pennsylvania and accelerating economic growth.

What's the purpose?

  • Create career opportunities through collaboration between area colleges and univerisites and area business resources.
  • Attract and retain young professionals and entrepreneurs by creating an environment where career opportunities are abundant, help is accessible, and innovation is encouraged, supported, and rewarded.


What does this mean for you?

  • Networking and Collaboration opportunities with area businesses and Universitites
  • Access to our institutional partners: Bloomsburg University, Bucknell University, and Susquehanna University as well as their faculty and students
  • Collaboration with other tenants to further develop your innovative ideas and goals
  • Access to our industry partners: Ben Franklin Technology PArtners, Geisinger Medical Center, and the Columbia Alliance for Economic Growth.
  • Qualified KIZ clients can receive project grant money, internship funding, and access to additional financing, services, and tax incentives.
